Hawaii has 84% of all coral reefs in the America. If we add the Pacific coral reefs, it makes 94% in all American reefs in Hawaii and the Pacific.
The coral reefs makes of jobs and billions of moneys each year like touring… So if the coral reefs disapear, Many people will lose their jobs and moneys.
Coral reefs, what are also called the rain forests of the sea makes about 375 billion dollars in one year. The U.S. Coral Task Force reported that a staggering figure for an ecosystem covering less than one percent of the Earth’s surface.
“But if the bad envinroment like now continues, about 70% of all the reefs may be gone by 2050,” said D. James Baker, who is the task force co-chair and head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The plan calls for cooperation to increase survival of coral reefs and marine species.They will be “no-take” protective areas, said Maragos, who was on several working groups for the task force. “We’re not simply calling it a ‘park’ and allowing all kinds of harvesting to go on.”
Management of fisheries, especially recreational fishing, could be improved. Concerns about the effects of sewage, soil runoff, boating and anchoring on coral reefs. Global warming, which causes dying of reefs is another big problem too.

Corals are now dying faster and faster. There are many reasons of why are they dying. The reasons are Human Contact, Runoff Water, Sewage, Cyanide Fishing, Fertilizers & Pollution, and Blast Fishing.

Depth Living : 200m
Coelacanths are known from the fossil record dating back over 360 million years, with a peak in abundance about 240 million years ago. Before 1938 they were believed to have become extinct approximately 80 million years ago, when they disappeared from the fossil record.
